Security Cloud Control Lab

Security Cloud Control Lab

Cisco's Security Cloud Control is a comprehensive security architecture that extends protection across all major trust boundaries—encompassing users, devices, applications, and workloads—wherever they reside.

This architecture supports secure connectivity from branch locations via SD-WAN, through to Security Service Edge (SSE) capabilities, ensuring consistent policy enforcement and visibility across hybrid and multicloud environments. By including users and devices alongside workloads and applications.

At its core, a Security Cloud Control is an integrated security platform that delivers consistent firewalling across public, private, and hybrid environments. It combines centralized cloud-based management with unified policy enforcement, dynamic policy discovery, and full lifecycle management—providing deep visibility and control across distributed infrastructure, not just applications.

Lab tasks:

  • Task 1  - Create Access Control Policy
  • Task 2 - Onboard NGFW1 on SCC
  • Task 3 - Configure Interfaces
  • Task 4 – Configure Static Route
  • Task 5 - Configure NAT Policy
  • Task 6 - Configure Access Control Policy

Upon completion of this lab, you will be able to:

  • Onboard firewalls manually to Security Cloud Control
  • Understand how to configure static routes, ACL's and NAT
